ARUNACHAL PRADESH, INDIA

In the extreme north east of india, the the tribes Adis, Akas, Apatanis, Bangnis, Nishis, Mishmis, Mijis, Thongsas etc., who worship Sun and Moon God namely, Donyi-Polo and Abo-Tani, the original ancestors. The forests of Arunachal Pradesh possess a phenomenal range of biological diversity, both in flor and fauna. The forests are also home to sizeable tribal population which continues to live in close association with nature and utilises a wide variety of forest resources for sustenance and livelihood.

Arunachal Pradesh “ La terra del sole nascente”. La Regione Nord-Orientale è la più varia dell’India ma anche la meno conosciuta, zona alquanto diversa dal resto dell’India, è una delle principali aree di insediamento delle popolazioni adivasi, ospita molte tribù  culturalmente
affini con quelle dell’estremità orientale dell’himalaya, della Birmania, della Thailandia e del Laos.
